It is a privilege to step into the role of IFSA Chair at such a pivotal moment for our industry. Following the celebration of CATEX’s 60th anniversary, our focus now shifts to the future – towards CATEX 2027 and the next era of foodservice, hospitality, and sustainable innovation in Ireland.

Throughout my career in Foodservice I’ve seen the power of strong partnerships, resilient supply chains and a shared commitment to quality. These strengths have always defined our industry, and through IFSA, we have a unique opportunity to support and champion the people and organisations who continue to drive it forward. Our collaboration with the Specialty Coffee Association, the Panel of Chefs of Ireland, Chef Network, and our wider community of exhibitors and stakeholders remains central to this mission.

CATEX has long been regarded as the unmissable event for those shaping foodservice and hospitality in Ireland. Together with our valued sponsors and industry partners, we are building an event for 2027 that not only reflects where our sector stands today, but where it is headed – embracing new technologies, new efficiencies and sustainable solutions that will define the decades ahead.
